Thodi Life Thoda Magic facing screening problem

Sahil Chadha, who was enthusiastically awaiting the release of his maiden film as a producer, Thodi Life Thoda Magic, is now in a state of shock. It is known that all the multiplexes that had agreed to screen his film have now refused to release it. Chadha, who is fighting a title battle with Yash Chopra, suspects that the multiplex owners have backed out owing to pressure from Yash Raj Films, co-producer of Kunal Kohli’s Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. When contacted, Chadha said that he doesn’t know what is happening and why it is happening. His film is a small and sincere effort and is no way a threat to anyone.
He is not aware why they’re so much insecurity from a big banner. His film is not being screened at any multiplex. They all backed out on Tuesday, when his distributor Rajesh Thadani called them for show timings, though they had agreed to screen his film initially.
He is confident that his film will do well in Mumbai but he doesn’t have a single multiplex screen available here.
Chadha further added that he has nothing against multiplex owners, as he is sure they might be clasping under pressure from people who are more powerful than him. The film has been made with a lot of honesty should be rewarded. He is shocked at this backdoor policy. All he can say to his detractors is: ‘grow up’.”
