In the movie Doli Saja Ke Rakhna, Inderjit meets Pallavi and they both fall deeply in love with each other. However, her three over domineering brothers warn Pallavi to stay away from Inderjit thus without delaying the two lovers to run off, chased by the police force. They land in a fisherman’s quay, where they meet Jojo Pinto, who agrees to face up to their tormentors, and also get them legally married. But at the very last moment, the two have a change of heart and decide to return home.
